About J&Ds Farm Sanctuary
John and Debbie packed up their suburban life and moved to beautiful Northern Victoria in October 2021 to start our sanctuary – J&D’s Farm Sanctuary, which is in memory of their Gussy girl the goose. They came across Gus when Debbie put her hand up to help a friend in need who had lost her flock to a fox, we brought Gus into our small rental in the eastern suburbs and what a wonderful majestic lady she was, sadly she passed away at the age of 22 before we had a chance to take her with us to the country to start our new life. Gussy girl came and went before they had found their path in life, to dedicate their lives to animals who deserve so much love, though she lives on as the ambassador of their animal rescue!
What We Did
J&Ds Farm Sanctuary needed a refresh from the original website which was not something John or Debbie was proud of any longer.
We created the Donation Driven Website website including,
- animal database to dynamically display J&Ds residents with donation calls to action
- homepage dynamically showcases latest news and residents
- integrated FundraiseUp Donation Engine to the site to increase online donations
- added Newsletter sign up to increase email subscribers
