About Aussie Feedlots
There are over 400 feedlots in Australia, and the majority of beef sold in supermarkets- around 80% – is sourced from the feedlot sector. Despite this, most people have never seen a feedlot, and are unaware of this industry’s detrimental impacts.
The Aussie Feedlots website aims to highlight Australian feedlots, for land owners, domestic and overseas consumers and governments. AnimalKIND have documented almost a quarter of the accredited feedlots in the country, to provide an honest and transparent glimpse of this industry, and the harm it causes to animals, the environment and human health.
What We Did
We created the Donation Driven Website including,
- Custom design and build to showcase single feedlots with custom fields
- Dynamic Feedlot database with Geolocation markers
- Integrated FundraiseUp Donation Engine to the site to boost online donations for the campaign
